Description
Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and approachable student ambassador to represent Harper Adams University at an upcoming YFC Careers Event in Hertfordshire.
Must have access to own vehicle for transport to and from event.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be based on the Harper Adams stand, engaging with young people interested in exploring further education and careers in agriculture, animal science, rural enterprise and related industries.
You will help share your experiences of university life, answer questions from prospective students and encourage young people to consider the opportunities available at Harper Adams.
Skills and experience
We would particularly welcome applications from students who are members of Young Farmers' Clubs (YFC) or who live in Hertfordshire, as you will have a good understanding of the local community and the audience attending the event.
This is a great opportunity to develop your communication skills, gain valuable outreach experience and inspire the next generation to explore their future career and education options.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, confident talking to new people and passionate about sharing their university experience.
