Description

Role

The University of Surrey International Marketing Team is currently preparing for our Postgraduate Virtual Open Day event running 3-5 November, and would like to look into some help with captioning our webinar recordings.
 
We will have 7x webinar sessions taking place on 3rd/4th November, and we'll need some help to watch the webinars and correct the automatically generated captions before the end of that week.
 
A 30 minute training session would also take place the week before – time to be confirmed. 
 
This work can be carried out remotely and at a flexible time, however ideally within usual office hours so that staff can be on hand to support with any questions. Candidates would need to use their own computer.
 
£17.01 per hour.
£2.05 per hour holiday pay.

Duties and responsibilities

 
This job would be shared by two people working on 3-4 sessions each, and we would expect it to take around 1 hour and a half for each webinar. We'd need this work completed on Wednesday 4th to Friday 5th November.  

Skills and experience
The candidates would need a high standard of English listening skills to be able to accurately correct spoken word.
