Description
Role
We are looking for two photographers to document the annual Gloucester Lantern Parade on Saturday 14th November 2026.
This is a community and school event, filled with energy, creativity, and community spirit. You will need to take photos of both participants in the parade, as well as audience along the route, and performances in King's Square.
A schedule and locations will be provided.
Duties and responsibilities
Photography of outdoor lantern procession including lanterns, peoples faces and general enjoyment of the event.
There will be a briefing at 4pm on arrival at Gloucester Cathedral, before the parade begins to assemble outside from 4.30pm
Skills and experience
- Interest or experience in outdoor event photography
- Interest or experience in evening photography.
- Ability to capture candid moments, crowd interactions, and key highlights of the event.
