Role
Origin8tive is looking for a creative and hands-on Videographer & Content Creator to help us produce a promotional and demonstration video for Stratum8, our Cyber Test Range product. This is a short-term project for someone who can take a video from initial concept through to final production.
You'll work closely with our technical team and subject matter experts to turn a complex technical product into something engaging and accessible for both technical and non-technical audiences.
We have some initial ideas for the content, including a technical demonstration, but we're looking for someone who can bring their own creative input and help shape the overall story, visual style and finished product.
Duties and responsibilities
You'll be involved across the full production process, including:
- Developing the video concept, storyboard and script
- Planning and undertaking filming
- Filming interviews, demonstrations and other supporting content
- Working with technical subject matter experts to capture the Stratum8 demonstration
- Editing footage into a polished, engaging final video
- Producing and recording voiceover content where required
- Creating or incorporating graphics, animation, captions and other visual elements
- Managing audio and other post-production requirements
- Preparing the finished video for use across marketing and business development activities
- Managing footage, project files and other production assets
- Working with the Origin8tive team to review and refine the final product
Skills and experience
We are looking for someone with practical experience in video production who can take a project from concept through to completion.
You should have experience in areas such as:
- Video filming and production
- Video editing and post-production
- Storyboarding and scripting
- Voiceover and audio production
- Motion graphics, animation or visual effects
- Producing content for promotional or business purposes
- Working with subject matter experts to turn technical information into engaging content
- Experience producing content for technology, cyber security or other technical environments would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can combine technical production skills with creativity and good storytelling.
