About Kingsley United

Stanley House Academy T/A Kingsley United Football Club is a grassroots football organisation using football as a positive tool to engage young people within our local community.

We aim to provide young people with a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where they can enjoy football, develop their skills and confidence, build positive relationships and reach their potential both on and off the pitch. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Volunteer Football Coaches to join our Club and support the development of our young players.

As a Volunteer Football Coach, you will play an important role in creating a positive football experience for our young people. You will support the planning and delivery of enjoyable, inclusive and age-appropriate football sessions, while helping players develop their technical ability, teamwork, confidence and understanding of the game. You do not need to be an expert coach or have years of experience. We are particularly interested in people who are positive, reliable, patient and passionate about helping young people develop.

  • Encourage good sportsmanship both on and off the pitch.
  • Support match-day activities and tournaments where required.
  • Work positively with other coaches, volunteers and Club officials.
  • Communicate appropriately with parents and carers.
  • Follow the Clubs safeguarding, equality, health and safety and other relevant policies.
  • Raise any safeguarding or welfare concerns promptly through the appropriate Club procedures.
