Role
Join the team at City St George’s Careers Fair, welcoming students, managing bookings and queues, and providing a friendly first point of contact throughout the event.
Duties and responsibilities
- Using event management software to monitor and record the number of students entering and exiting the venue.
- Welcoming and admitting students by checking their names against the registration list.
- Managing queues and ensuring the smooth flow of students into the venue.
- Managing and monitoring pre-booked time slots.
- Registering and admitting students who attend without a prior booking.
- Providing a friendly and professional first point of contact for students.
- Assisting students with general queries where required.
Skills and experience
We are looking for someone with strong customer service experience who can work effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have good IT skills, demonstrate initiative, and be able to think on their feet and respond confidently to changing situations.
