Description

Role

Student Engagement Associates (SEAs) are current UG/PGT students employed by the University of Nottingham's Educator Academy to work on institution-wide strategic projects. Our aim is to work closely with students from a range of faculties, years and backgrounds to ensure that their voice is heard in the University's developments and decisions. 

Start Date: 28/10/26 

End Date: 31/07/27

Working Hours: Variable - to be arranged by client with the worker. Hours may vary each week according to the project they are working on. 

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour 

Holiday Pay Rate: £1.62 per hour 

Location: University Park  

Duties and responsibilities
- Regularly attending meetings for projects you are involved in, to provide input and help steer the project

- Approaching and communicating with the student body
- Collaborating with staff and students alike to develop ideas, conduct research and gather information about the student experience across the university

Skills and experience
- Enthusiastic, reliable and punctual

- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail
- An interest in student learning, curriculum design and student voice beyond your academic subject
