How to apply
To apply, please submit:
- A cover letter telling us why you want to join the scheme.
- Your CV, including any links to your relevant social media channels.
- A short video task showcasing your content creation skills;
Your task: Create a 30–60 second video encouraging a prospective student to choose the University of Leicester.
Think about what would make Leicester stand out to someone who is considering where to study. You could showcase student life, the campus, the city, opportunities available to students or something else that you think would capture their attention.
We’re looking for a video that feels authentic, engaging and student-led, rather than overly polished or corporate.
Consider:
- How you would grab someone's attention in the first few seconds
- Who your target audience is
- What message you want them to take away
- How you would use filming, editing, text, music or voiceover to bring your idea to life
You can film and edit the video using your phone and any editing software or app you’re comfortable with.
The aim is to see your creativity, personality and ability to create content that would engage prospective students.
