Role
Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of entrepreneurship education and startup support programmes, creating high-quality experiences for students and founders.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Planning and organising — 20%
-
Coordinate the annual programme of entrepreneurship education and startup support.
-
Work with colleagues and partners to plan and schedule programmes aligned with founder and participant needs.

Coordinate programme logistics and communications to ensure smooth delivery and engagement.
2. Being student and customer focused — 30%
-
Support the delivery of learning and startup support programmes.
-
Organise high-quality workshops, events and programmes with facilitators, product owners and partners.
-
Ensure programmes provide engaging and impactful experiences for participants and founders.
3. Communicating and influencing — 20%
-
Promote programmes with internal university stakeholders to support recruitment and engagement.
-
Build relationships with partners, facilitators and other stakeholders who can add value to our programmes.

Work with marketing to promote programmes across digital platforms and showcase entrepreneurship at the university and in the City of London.

Contribute to case studies, social media content and other marketing materials.
4. Problem solving and decision making — 10%

Identify challenges in programme design and delivery and develop practical solutions.

Make effective decisions when managing competing priorities or changing requirements.

Use data and feedback to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
5. Leadership and management — 8%

Play a key role in leading the design and delivery of entrepreneurship education and startup support programmes.

Monitor programme quality and impact, gather feedback and identify improvements.

Lead the creation and publication of bi-annual impact reports.
6. Taking Responsibility — 4%

Take ownership of programme delivery and outcomes.

Maintain accuracy and compliance in data collection, reporting and quality assurance.
7. Budgetary/Financial Controls — 2%

Work within agreed budgets and track programme delivery costs.

Skills and experience
Essential Criteria

Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.

Knowledge of entrepreneurship, business development, or startup ecosystems.

Understanding of programme coordination and event management principles.

Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation methods, including impact metrics and feedback analysis.

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple programmes, events, and deadlines effectively.

Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt plans to meet changing needs and objectives.

Demonstrates commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for programme participants.

Ability to understand and respond to the needs of diverse audiences, including underrepresented groups.

Builds positive relationships with founders, mentors, and partners to ensure satisfaction and engagement.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging stakeholders and participants.
