Description
Role
Serving and preparing food and beverages for customers, and keeping the units clean and presentable. Working as part of Campus Services.
Hours - You must be available to work from 10:00 until 16:30 on Thursday throughout the semester. Please clearly state your weekly availability within the cover letter. Any additional availability particularly on Monday and Tuesday would be advantageous but is not essential.
There is no guarantee of hours and some weeks you will not be offered a shift as shifts are subject to demand.
This assignment is for six weeks only with the possibility of extension depending on your availability and client needs at that time.
Dress Code - Black button up shirt, black trousers and black shoes.
Duties and responsibilities
- Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Keep all work areas to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ensure health and safety advice is followed.
- Communicate well with other members of the catering team.
- Till operation including cash handling.
Skills and experience
Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
