Role

We have an outstanding and committed team of Student Ambassadors. The role is to support a wide range of recruitment activities and events throughout the year, both on and off campus.

Duties and responsibilities

• Working at the University Open Days, Offer Holder Experience Days, Faculty Experience Days and other large on-campus events
• Leading campus and accommodation tours
• Taking part in on-campus events for local school/college students/prospective postgraduate students
• Leading ice breaker activities in breakout rooms for online events
• Developing recruitment-related publicity and marketing information e.g. blogging, social media posts etc.
• Developing resources for recruitment activities, including subject-specific material
• Representing the University at a range of off-campus higher education recruitment events
• Delivering presentations/activities in local schools/colleges/postgraduate recruitment events
• Supporting event preparation and office work

Occasionally you may need to work at weekends and in the evenings, which might involve overnight stays. The University covers your expenses and accommodation costs for this work.
