Perfectly You Co is an award-winning Med Spa on Rodney St, Liverpool, founded by Adele Mcgrath and Mike Haycock. As the business has grown, other brands were created, such as the sold out Wellness At 57 (a destination for health, beauty, and wellness owners to rent high-class clinic rooms).

From these, Wellness At: Group was created as a parent brand. It is our new B2B platform helping solo health, beauty, and wellness practitioners grow their own brands through 4 C's: Clinics, Content Creation, Courses, and Community.

- Clinics: Supplied through our 5 high-quality, leasable clinic rooms at 57 Rodney St (with more locations coming soon).

- Content: Provided by our marketing team, who provide marketing support through an in-house marketing agency.

- Courses: Our online masterclasses and digital products coming soon

- Community: Covers an a range of in-person events, such as yoga and breath-work through to business classes.

The marketing team is responsible for both the ongoing management of our internal brands marketing (Perfectly You Co, Wellness At 57 and Wellness At: Group), and Wellness At: Group's external clients for Content Creation. This means we're always active, experimenting, and being creative across the board. As a marketing team of 3 in a fast-paced startup environment, we're looking for a creative, adaptable, and easy-going individual who has got a marketing passion. You will play an important role in both our internal and external client marketing efforts, whilst also being a big part in the team culture we are creating.

Duties and responsibilities
As a Marketing Intern, you will be working closely with the entire team, including our Co-Founders Mike and Adele, Marketing Manager Meg, Marketing Specialist Gina, and our practitioners Erin and Jess. In this role, you will be primarily focused on our clients content creation, and developing our Wellness At: Group brand. We capture tons of content during monthly content shoots (which you will be a part of), and this needs editing to a high standard. We create a range of client content for social platforms, so we are looking for someone who has super comfortable using Canva and Capcut and enjoys being creative with these.

Bonus experience in any of these areas is great (but not required):

- Photography/Videography: We capture content using our camera (a Canon R10) and our mobiles. Whilst it is not required, any experience using mirrorless cameras is great, and will allow you to get involved on the shoots.

- Other Editing Software: Experience with the likes of Final Cut, Da Vinci, or Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is a bonus.

- Notion: Notion is our Content Management System and Project Management software, where we also host our Client Portals.

- Podcasts: We are launching a podcast before year end, so any experience with podcast filming or editing is useful.

- Website Builders: We run multiple sites, primarily on WordPress but also on Wix and Squarespace. Any experience with these is great.

- AI: We are trying to utilise AI more effectively as a supplementary tool, whilst ensuring our creative work is strictly human and connects deeply. Any experience with AI to improve processes or administration is welcomed.

Skills and experience
- Real world marketing. We are not concerned about you having lots of theory. We love to see real-world marketing. Do you create and post content, have you built an audience, do you understand about crafting hooks, do you regularly edit, are you great at understanding social media algorithms, are you up to date with trends?

- Editing. This is one we definitely require. We tend to have a lot of content to do, so whilst we want to create the best content, it needs to be snappy. That is why, as a team, we primarily edit on Canva and Capcut, and would require you to have knowledge of both. Our bigger projects may require the likes of Final Cut, Da Vinci, Premiere Pro etc (not required), but that is often overkill for our regular style of social media editing.

- Creative Flair. Whilst we have got formats, ideas, and templates, we are not going to box you in. We have a monthly Creative Planning session (which you will be a part of), where we collaborate on the following months content ideas. After this, we get into shooting and editing. We encourage thinking outside the box and trying something new, and you will have a voice within our team. Anyone who is happy to share their ideas and experiment creatively will do well with us, and actively encouraged to do so.

- Adopt our startup mentality. As a smaller team of 6 (with 3 on the marketing team), who you are as a person matters more than your background. If you are the right vibe and fit for our team with a startup mentality, we will make sure your internship with us is fun, developmental, and with options to continue with us past your initial placement.
