Seasonal Events Team - Multiple Positions Available
Looking for some flexible seasonal work this autumn and winter? We’re recruiting for a fantastic Farm Shop Events Team, helping bring a whole calendar of family events to life.
From pumpkin patches and fireworks to Christmas markets and Santa’s Grotto, there are multiple shifts available from October through December.
Duties and responsibilities
No two days will necessarily be the same. You could be helping with:
- Pumpkin patch and Halloween events
- Fireworks events
- Christmas markets
- Santa’s Grotto
- Welcoming and helping visitors
- Supporting the smooth running of events
- Helping with general event set-up and pack-down
- Providing a friendly and welcoming experience for families
You’ll need to be friendly, adaptable and happy to muck in. Events can change quickly, so we’re looking for people who can think on their feet and aren’t afraid to get stuck in.
The work is a mixture of indoors and outdoors, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in all weather conditions, yes, that potentially means getting a bit wet and muddy.
Skills and experience
We’re looking for people who are:
- Friendly and confident speaking to members of the public
- Great with children and families
- Reliable and punctual
- Happy working both indoors and outdoors
- Adaptable and willing to give anything a go
- Comfortable working as part of a busy events team
Previous events, hospitality, retail or customer service experience is useful, but a great attitude is just as important.

October: 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th, 24th–31st
November: 2nd, 5th, 6th*, 16th–23rd, 28th, 29th
December: 5th, 6th, 11th*, 12th, 13th, 18th*, 19th–25th, 28th–30th
Most shifts are 8am–5pm, with some evening shifts running 4pm–8pm (*).
