Role
Our Client is looking for an Accounts Trainee educated to degree level in an accounting subject to come and join our growing team at our Burslem Offices. Full training will be given but must have understanding of accounting practices through degree work.
Duties and responsibilities
- Bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and preparing VAT returns.
- Assistance with the preparation of CIS returns on a monthly basis.
- Assisting in the preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Supporting senior team members with day-to-day queries and assistance with client queries.
- Assistance with payroll services.
Skills and experience
This is an entry level position, so no experience is needed. They are really looking for someone who is interested/has a degree in accountancy/finance and has graduated but looking at gaining accountancy experience. If they do have some prior financial experience, it would be helpful but not necessary.
