Role
The Faculty of Social Sciences is seeking an experienced and proactive individual to lead the development of a faculty-wide data collection and reporting solution to support student module registration.
The postholder will work closely with departmental administrators across the Faculty to collect, validate and consolidate module registration data into a single shared view. This information will be used to support the confirmation and management of student module choices across departments, ensuring that agreed rules and constraints are applied consistently and transparently.
A key aspect of the role will be the design and development of a sustainable reporting solution, expected to be delivered using Microsoft Power BI. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating processes and dashboards that enable departments to view, review and confirm module selections through a shared reporting environment.
Reporting directly to the Faculty Chief Operations Officer, the postholder will have significant autonomy in determining the most effective approach to data collection, transformation, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new faculty-wide process that will improve visibility, consistency and efficiency across module registration activities.
