Role

The University of Nottingham’s Creative team are wanting to build a bank of diverse confident and enthusiastic undergraduate and postgraduate UoN students who would like to take part in student recruitment photography and video shoots taking place between Autumn 2026 to Summer 2027. This is a great opportunity to gain modelling experience, meet new people and help represent student life at the University of Nottingham. The shoots will be fun, relaxed and informal, with students captured in a range of simulated university teaching and learning and student-life settings as well as City shoots such as Goose Fair and the Christmas market.

Start Date: 05/10/26 

End Date: 31/07/27 

Working Hours: To be arranged by client dependent on location and shoot. Maximum 8 hours per day, per shoot, per worker 

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour 

Holiday Pay Rate: £1.62 per hour 

Location: Teaching and learning spaces across all three UK campuses. As well as on-campus outdoor spaces and off-site locations such as Nottingham City Centre. 

Duties and responsibilities
As a student model for UoN's photo and video shoots, responsibilities would include: 

• Representing the university in a professional and positive manner 
• Participating in photography and video sessions as directed by the creative team 
• Help showcase the university’s campus, facilities, student experience, and overall brand. This involves following instructions from photographers, videographers, and university staff 
• Punctual and prepared for scheduled shoots 
• Maintain an appropriate appearance and professional attitude 
• Be comfortable working collaboratively with other students and staff throughout the production process

Skills and experience
No previous modelling experience required - we are simply looking for students who are: 

• Confident 
• Approachable 
• Comfortable taking creative direction while being photographed and filmed 
• Enjoy engaging and conversing with staff and fellow students 
• Help create a natural, friendly and authentic atmosphere during shoots

Location
Teaching and learning spaces across all three UK campuses. As well as on-campus outdoor spaces and off-site locations such as Nottingham City Centre.
