Role
We are looking for a photographer to take footage during the Unitemps Annual conference day and Awards event at the University of Warwick, on 3rd December 2026.
Each year Unitemps hosts its annual conference. The conference includes meetings, presentations, workshops, and an awards evening, as part of the event. Around 100 people will attend the conference.
Some relevant experience in corporate event photography is desirable.
Thursday 3rd December 2026, 12pm – 4pm then 6pm – 11pm, with flexible editing times.
Duties and responsibilities
The role requires an organised and pro-active photographer to capture high-quality visual images. You will be responsible for organising and maintaining the necessary equipment to photograph the event.
- Day time: It will be your duty to photograph guests, during arrival at the venue, during workshops and around the environment, capturing the atmosphere of the conference.
- Evening: It will be your duty to photograph guests and awards winners during the awards ceremony to a reasonable number of pictures, capturing the atmosphere of the event.
- Provide several files with all photographs, within 3 days of the event taking place.
- Editing or retouching needed. Editing time will be paid same as hourly rate (up to 5 hours editing)
- The successful candidate must have access to their own SLR camera and relevant equipment.
Skills and experience
- A good level of photography experience and editing knowledge is required. However, the role is suitable for an experienced individual, it can also suit a current student or recent graduate with relevant knowledge.
- Deliver great customer service, put people at ease, gather groups together in an organised and timely manner.
- Capacity to blend in within the crowd, adaptability, attention to detail, organisational skills, time management, working within the timeframe, working on own initiative, good communication are all desirable skills.
