Description

Role
The Student Support Hub are looking for Student Ambassadors. 

Duties and responsibilities

Ambassadors to signpost & provide general directions within the University ( Course Offices, Canteen, IT Helpdesk, Library etc)

Ambassadors will help promote and support self service for student queries particularly in relation to Student Timetable Queries (Where to find them, how to access them)

Ambassadors will also be supporting with queue management within the SSH Space & directing students to the appropriate desk for support

Skills and experience

Be a current City student

Have good knowledge of City’s Schools, services and campuses, and a willingness to learn more about the campus and university structure

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for a variety of settings and audiences

Be enthusiastic and have a positive approach to university life and higher education

Possess good time management skills and reliability

Be adaptable, flexible and proactive

Have a commitment to customer service

Able to represent the University professionally and positively with regards to presentation and conduct
