Unitemps are acting as an Employment Business, supplying temporary workers, in relation to this vacancy.

We are a fast-paced and growing company based in Nottingham, UK with employees in the USA and Europe as well as the UK. In-house, we design and manufacture the models and rules for historical and science fiction tabletop games. Our products are sold worldwide through direct sales teams and the Warlord Games website, including pro-active newsletters and website sales activities.  Our vision is simply to become the best historical wargames manufacturer in the world! 

What are we looking for?  

In the run up to our busiest time of year, we’re looking for Operations Operatives to work in our warehouse and factory teams during busy periods and to cover holidays within the various departments of Operations. Hours will be arranged dependant on availability of the successful applicant. The roles available will vary depending on the needs within the different departments, but activities could include picking, packing, casting or despatch duties, among others. Start Date: Flexible start date, but needed before 1st November 2026
Length of Assignment: Discuss with hiring manager
Working Hours: As required, discuss with hiring manager

Pay Rate: £12.71
Location: 1A Central Court, Finch Close, Nottingham, NG7 2NN

Dress Code: Casual

Duties and responsibilities

Key Objectives 

  • Adhere to the safety standards explained in our risk assessments, safe standard operating procedures, training and signage 
  • Adhere to all quality standards and Key Performance Indicators  
  • Hit or surpass the targeted standards on productivity, rates of work and speed 
  • Be flexible in your availability and adapt to the ebbs and flows of the work requirements 
  • Adhere to 5S principles at all times 
  • Any other ad-hoc duty 

More detail regarding key objectives: 

  • Training on all aspects of health and safety will be provided. 
  • There are generic safe standard operating procedures that apply to everyone, and there are specific ones for each area/department. 
  • Each area/department also has specific risk assessments. 
  • A general excellent safety culture and attitude towards all matters of H&S is essential. We expect you to attend and actively participate in all training. 
  • SSOPs must always be followed. 
  • RAs must always be adhered to. 
  • At all times. Towards your own work and the people around you.  
  • Each area/department has specific measures on quality that must be adhered to. These will be communicated at the start of a job. 
  • Any quality escape needs to be reported and recorded. These need to be below the specified target. 
  • Expectations will be clearly explained 
  • Errors and escapes will be recorded  
  • Each area/department has specific measures on productivity and speed of work that must be adhered to. These will be communicated at the start of a job. 
  • Good record keeping is expected and the targets need to be hit or surpassed.
