Role
As a Student Ambassador, you will welcome and support new students by leading campus tours, providing information and guidance, and delivering a friendly, engaging experience throughout the Welcome period at City St George’s, University of London.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide campus tours of the City St George’s Clerkenwell Campus for new students.
- Confidently lead groups of up to 20 students on campus tours.
- Answer questions and provide information and support to new students.
- Provide a high level of customer service to all new students.
- Report to the Team Leader and/or Student Communities Officer at the start and end of each day to record working hours and break times.
- Be flexible and provide support with other Ambassador duties as required.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience as a Student Ambassador and providing campus tours is preferable.
- Good understanding of the responsibilities and expectations of a Student Ambassador.
- Good knowledge of the University campus, key locations and essential student services.
- Clear and confident communicator, comfortable speaking to groups of up to 20 students.
- Friendly and approachable, with a positive attitude towards engaging with new students.
- Passionate about City St George’s, University of London.
- Reliable with good timekeeping.
