Description
Role
The School of History, Politics and International Relations are looking to recruit student ambassadors. The role will be required to contribute toward the promotion and dissemination of information to potential and current students for the School, and to represent the School and University as an ambassador.
Duties and responsibilities
- Represent the School at in person or digital Open Days/Offer Holder Days under the direction of the School’s Director of Recruitment and Admission Directors, sharing positive experiences of the university with prospective students.
- Attend briefings with Admissions Directors before events
- Attend any Student Ambassador training made available to you
Skills and experience
Essential
- Experience working with prospective students
- Be a current student based in the School of History, Politics and International Relations at the University of Leicester
- Willing and able to positively represent History, Politics and International Relations at Leicester and your experience as a University of Leicester student
- Available to work on weekends
- Good timekeeping
- Be willing to share their positive experiences of the university and their own study skills practices.
- Able to communicate clearly in person, and online via both written and spoken text.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Teams/similar platforms.
Desirable
- Previous experience of using online platforms
