Description

Role

The role below is only for Middlesex University Current Students

We’re looking for a team of social media stars who will create and star in content for the Middlesex University social media channels.

If you’re a current Middlesex student who has a great eye for photography, is up to date with the latest social trends, loves being in front of the camera or enjoys creating content, this is a great opportunity to level up your skills and get experience working in social media marketing.

The role will consist of, but is not limited to: featuring in our photo and video content, planning and creating your own TikTok and Instagram content, taking photos and videos around campus and posting on your own socials that we can reshare across our channels – all with support and guidance from the Social Media Manager and Social Media Officers.

Our ideal candidates are confident and comfortable in front of the camera, have a good sense of humour and are always up to date with the latest social media, Gen Z and student trends.

We’re looking to build a core team of recognisable faces across our social channels, and we're keen to hear from students across different courses, faculties and years of study.

You don’t need to be an active content creator or have an existing following to apply - we’re interested in your creativity, personality and understanding of social media.

How will we work together?

You’ll be in regular contact with the social team working on ideas for trending content, as well as fun and informative content for our channels.

We will also reach out to you with approved content ideas or opportunities based on your skillset.

The role is flexible - the frequency and the type of content you work on will vary throughout the year. We aim to work with you regularly to bring some new familiar faces to our channels!
