The Accommodation and Student Living Internship is a graduate intern employed by LJMU to contribute to the delivery of the Accommodation and Student Living workstream with a primary focus on event management, and administrative assistance. They will take ownership over the scheduling of Student Living Assistants at events, support on the delivery of the Student Living Programme, and help the Accommodation and Student Living Team with administrative tasks as required.

What does the Accommodation and Student Living Intern do?
- Assist with event creation and planning of the Student Living Programme (SLP)
- Ensure delivery of SLP events• Attend SLP events and gather feedback from attendees.
- Contribute to the scheduling of student staff for Campus Tours, Open Days and other university led events
- Support the Accommodation and Student Living Team with accommodational locations as required
- Any other administrative duties as aligned with the role
Duties and responsibilities
- To support in the creation and delivery of the Student Living Programme within LJMU Partner Halls, and LJMU buildings, and to assist with the gathering and summarising of event feedback.
- To support the administrative procedures within the Accommodation and Student Living Team.

MAIN DUTIES
Event Support
- Deliver events as set out within the Student Living Programme.
- Research and creation of new events.
- Assist in gathering and summarising feedback for SLP events.
- Support in event delivery within the wider Student Life and Wellbeing (SLAW)department as needed.
- Contribute to the delivery of event specific administrative tasks, such as risk assessment, and event registration.
Administrative support
- Support administrative procedures within the wider Accommodation and Student Living Team as required (for example: hall allocations).
- Arrange Student Living Assistants to work at key university events such as Campus Tours, Applicant Days and Open Days.
Applicant events
- Help deliver university events for applicants. These events happen during the academic year and will include Open Days and Applicant Days.
- Be an appropriate presence as required at accommodation sites.
General
