Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop a custom website for J&M Logistics Services (no templates — fully bespoke).
  • Build an online quote calculator with mileage logic, vehicle types, surcharges, and time‑window pricing.
  • Create booking forms with automated confirmation workflows.
  • Integrate operational features such as POD uploads, tracking modules, and client dashboards.
  • Ensure fast, secure, mobile optimised performance suitable for customers and drivers.
  • Collaborate directly with the founder to translate operational processes into digital tool

Skills and experience

  • Strong background in software development, web engineering, or computer science.
  • Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and optionally frameworks like React, Vue, or Next.js.
  • Experience building custom calculators, APIs, or logistics‑style systems.
  • Able to work independently and deliver clean, scalable code.
  • Creative problem‑solver who can turn operational workflows into digital solutions.
