Duties and responsibilities
- Develop a custom website for J&M Logistics Services (no templates — fully bespoke).
- Build an online quote calculator with mileage logic, vehicle types, surcharges, and time‑window pricing.
- Create booking forms with automated confirmation workflows.
- Integrate operational features such as POD uploads, tracking modules, and client dashboards.
- Ensure fast, secure, mobile optimised performance suitable for customers and drivers.
- Collaborate directly with the founder to translate operational processes into digital tool
Skills and experience
- Strong background in software development, web engineering, or computer science.
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and optionally frameworks like React, Vue, or Next.js.
- Experience building custom calculators, APIs, or logistics‑style systems.
- Able to work independently and deliver clean, scalable code.
- Creative problem‑solver who can turn operational workflows into digital solutions.
