Role
Join the Student Experience team as a Student Funding Officer, supporting students with their funding and financial support needs. This is a varied, student-facing role in a busy and supportive university environment.

Duties and responsibilities

The Student Funding Officer has specific responsibilities for delivering a high-quality, student-centred service providing in-person advice and guidance on funding options and attendance at university promotional events. Timely administration of discretionary funding, undergraduate bursaries and international student finance liaising with a wide range of staff at various levels across the university and external stakeholders.

Skills and experience

  • Candidates will have excellent customer service skills and thrive in busy, fast paced environments - with the ability to remain persistently calm in difficult situations and use professional judgement. 
  • Candidates will enjoy working as a team, have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively manage their varied workload – working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
