Role
Are you passionate about creating content, sharing your student experience and bringing ideas to life?

 
We're looking for a new team of Student Content Creators to help tell the story of life at University of Staffordshire. Whether you're already creating content or you're excited to develop your skills, this is your chance to gain paid, real-world experience while making a genuine impact.
 
As part of our Social Media Team, you'll create authentic content that helps future and current students discover what university life is really like. From Welcome Week and societies to placements, events and everyday student life, you'll help showcase the moments that matter most.
 
No two days are the same, and neither is the content you'll create.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Create engaging short-form content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other digital channels.
  • Share authentic stories that inspire, inform and support prospective and current students.
  • Capture life on campus, from major events and Open Days to the everyday moments that make Staffordshire unique.
  • Work alongside the Social Media Team to develop creative ideas and contribute to campaigns throughout the academic year.
  • Represent the University at key events, interviews and content opportunities.
  • Keep up to date with social media trends while bringing your own creativity and ideas to the team.
  • Collaborate with fellow Student Content Creators to produce engaging, audience-focused

  • Confident (or willing to build their confidence) in front of and behind the camera.
  • Passionate about sharing their university experience.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team.
  • Curious, adaptable and keen to learn new skills.
  • Excited to create content that connects with student audiences.

Previous experience is welcome, but not essential. If you've got enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

As part of your application, you'll be asked to submit a short video introducing yourself and showing us your creativity.
