Role
Are you passionate about creating content, sharing your student experience and bringing ideas to life?

 
We're looking for a team of Student Content Creators to help tell the story of life at the University of Staffordshire. Whether you're already creating content or you're excited to develop your skills, this is your chance to gain paid, real-world experience while making a genuine impact.
 
As part of our Content Team, you'll create authentic content that helps future and current students discover what university life is really like. From campus life and events to placements, societies and the everyday moments that make the student experience unique, you'll help showcase the moments that matter most.
 
Your content will help us reach students who want to see university through the eyes of someone who is actually there.

Duties and responsibilities
The way you contribute will vary depending on your campus, course, availability and the type of content we're creating.

 
London Campus
 
The London campus has its own distinctive student experience, community and audience. We're looking for creators who can help us tell the London story through the eyes of students.
 
London creators will have opportunities to:
  • Showcase what it's really like to study and live in London as a Staffordshire student.
  • Create content around the London campus, student community, events, activities and experiences.
  • Explore the wider London experience, including the opportunities, lifestyle and challenges that come with studying in the capital.
  • Create content that speaks to the specific interests and needs of the London student audience.
  • Bring their own perspective and experiences to help us connect with prospective students who may be considering studying in London.
  • Develop creative, social-first content that feels relevant to the communities and audiences we want to reach.

We're particularly interested in students who understand what makes the London experience different and can help us reach audiences through content that feels specific, relatable and authentic.

Skills and experience
We're not looking for influencers. We're looking for storytellers.

 
The best Student Content Creators are:
  • Creative and full of ideas.
  • Authentic and comfortable being themselves.
  • Confident, or willing to build their confidence, in front of and behind the camera.
  • Passionate about sharing their university experience.
  • Curious about social media and what makes content engaging.
  • Reliable, organised and able to communicate effectively.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Adaptable and open to feedback.
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills.
  • Interested in creating content that genuinely connects with student audiences.

You don't need thousands of followers or professional content creation experience. We're more interested in your personality, creativity, perspective and potential.

Previous experience is welcome but not essential. If you've got enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

As part of your application, you'll be asked to submit a short video introducing yourself and showing us your creativity.
