Role
This position provides an excellent foundation for developing a long-term career within Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with supplier onboarding and supplier performance monitoring.
- Support team projects and business improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and procurement processes.
- Support estimating, sales, engineering, and production teams with procurement-related information.
- Prepare reports for procurement and management meetings.
- Manage procurement information within ERP and business systems.
- Ensure supplier documents, certifications, and records remain up to date.
- Support process improvement initiatives through accurate system management.
- Produce and analyse purchasing reports and KPI information.
- Support cost analysis activities and supplier performance reviews.
Skills and experience
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
