Role
Support with the setup and running of the Big Hello event, welcoming and engaging with students, providing information and support, and helping with the clear-up afterwards. The event will take place on Thursday 17 September 2026, from 10:30am to 1:30pm, at City St George’s Clerkenwell Campus.
Duties and responsibilities
- Help with setting up the Big Hello event and support with clear-up once it finishes.
- Take on a variety of roles during the event, such as welcoming and directing students, running quick surveys, keeping track of attendance, and handing out freebies.
- Be a friendly point of contact by answering questions, offering support, and making students feel at home.
- To be willing to be flexible and provide support with other Ambassador duties as and when required.
Skills and experience
- Providing a high level of customer service to new and returning City St Georges 2025 students during Welcome Week 2025.
- A good understanding of what is expected by working as a Student Ambassador.
- Strong knowledge of the University campus, its key locations, and essential student services.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging with diverse groups.
- Friendly and outgoing, confident in approaching and engaging with students.
