Description
Role
Support new students with campus tours and providing information and guidance at City St George’s Clerkenwell Campus. Training will take place on Thursday 10 September 2026, with the campus tours taking place on Monday 14th September 2026, from 2pm to 4pm.
Please note: if selected and you accept this role, you must be able to fully commit to the agreed shift. Failure to attend or dropping out of the shift may impact future applications.
Duties and responsibilities
- To provide Campus Tours of the City St Georges Clerkenwell Campus for new students.
- To speak to a group of up to 20 students whilst taking them on a tour with confidence.
- To answer and provide information/support for new students.
- To provide a high level of customer service to all new students.
- To report to the Student Communities Officer at the start and end of each day to record working hours and break times.
- To be willing to be flexible and provide support with other Ambassador duties as and when required
Skills and experience
- Experience of working as a Student Ambassador and providing campus tours preferable.
- A good understanding of what is expected by working as a Student Ambassador.
- A good understanding of the University Campus/locations and essential student services.
- Clear communicator/confident in speaking to groups of up to 20 students at one time.
- Friendly and approachable, with a positive attitude towards engaging with new students.
- Passionate about City St Georges University.
- Good timekeeping and reliable.
