Role
|
Please note these roles are restricted to University of Warwick postgraduate students, postdoc or staff (those currently affiliated to the University or who have been affiliated within the last two years)
Impact Interns will undertake predominantly desk-based research and utilise various impact capture systems to provide evidence for developing research impact case studies within our pipeline. Supervised by Impact Development Officers and coordinating with Departmental Impact Directors and Case Study Leads, interns will gather and curate evidence, support with the writing of case studies, and where relevant and appropriate contact research beneficiaries directly. On occasion and if relevant to the case study during their contract they may be expected to attend relevant events in-person (local/UK based and if required eligible travel costs would be covered) or online to capture testimonials and quotes from attendees. Their work ensures all claimed impacts are eligible and clearly evidenced for potential submission to the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
Training will be provided at the start of the internship and interns will be supervised by experienced members of the Research Impact team throughout their contract.
There are roles available supporting the Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine. Interviews anticipated to take place w/c 28th September Queries regarding the role should be addressed to research_impact@warwick.ac.uk
