Student Ambassador Opportunities University of Staffordshire

We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable students to join our Student Ambassador team!

Duties and responsibilities

As a Student Ambassador, you will represent the University of Staffordshire in a positive and professional way.                    

You will support a variety of activities both on and off campus, including:

  • Supporting open days, interviews and university events
  • Delivering campus tours and helping visitors feel welcome
  • Supporting outreach activities in schools and the community
  • Sharing your real student experience with prospective student
  • Assisting with event setup, delivery and general organisation
  • Supporting marketing activity such as social media or student content

Skills and experience

You’ll act as a role model, helping others understand what university life is like and encouraging them to consider higher education.

  •  Reliable, punctual and able to use initiative

Additional information

Important information

You will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check,  unless you already hold a valid one  
This role involves working with young people, so safeguarding requirements must be met
 

Key dates (essential attendance required) 

Please only apply if you can attend:

•    Group Interview: 7th October

•    Training Day: 14th October (half day) 9:00am – 12:00pm or    1:00pm – 4:00pm

You must attend one training session to be eligible to work                   Please note:   Applications will only be considered if you can attend both the interview and training day

There will be another intake in January 2027 if you are unable to apply now
