Unitemps are recruiting for a Teaching Spaces - Helper. This role is suitable for UCL Students and Graduates Only. This role has an asap start date (early September) and a projected end date of October 2nd. This is a part-time role at 15-30 hours per week. Payment is set at £14.85 per hour + £2.78 holiday pay. This role is UCL campus based.

The Teaching Space Operations team sits within the Faculty Estates Team who are responsible for managing delivery of customer service excellence including Estates Business Partnering, Area Facilities Management and improving the quality and operational management of the teaching estate.

Duties and responsibilities

Job Description

To work as an assistant within the Teaching Space Operations department, supporting the readiness of the UCL teaching estate to enhance the student and staff experience, in line with the ambitions of the UCL Strategic Plan.• Supporting the operational activities required to ensure the teaching rooms are equipped and maintained to an excellent standard throughout the year and meet the needs of all users.

Duties including (but not limited to):

  • Creation & printing of room information posters from a template provided
  • Installing posters into teaching spaces•Assisting with teaching room resets - moving furniture into the correct place from a photo provided
  • Taking pictures of rooms once set up
  • Uploading files into Teams site
  • Reporting any issues to management
  • Topping up whiteboard supplies

Skills and experience

  • UCL Student or graduate
  • Experience of learning in UCL spaces
  • Knowledge of the Bloomsbury Campus

UCL; campus based working
