Role
Technical services are offering a 1-month recruitment cover. The successful candidate will assist in the provision of essential teaching and specialist space support, preparing teaching spaces, answering queries, tidying up following teaching sessions and preparing research space, enabling others to carry out research experimentation. 

Duties and responsibilities

• To be responsible for technical support activities within specialist areas.
• Prepare, lay out and clear/clean materials, equipment and consumables as required for teaching, research, outreach and other activities. 
• Support learning and classroom technology (e.g. AV, display boards and websites).
• Check/monitor equipment and stocks. 
• Maintain levels of materials and consumables, using local purchasing system and maintain equipment including appropriate testing.

Skills and experience

• Understanding of human anatomy, comply with local rules and university Health and Safety policies (Including working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines) in own work and ensuring compliance amongst all other users.
