Description
Role
We are looking for students to represent their Society or Sports Team in the Leicester Life Fair at our Autumn Open Days on 12 September, 3 October and 7 November.
Students will be required from 10.00am to 3.00pm at each event and there will be an additional (paid) 30-minute online briefing in the week of the event.
For the September Open Day, travel expenses will be paid.
This role is paid at the National Living Wage, which is £12.71 per hour with £1.53 holiday pay per hour.
Duties and responsibilities
Creating a warm, welcoming environment by being friendly and approachable, talking to prospective undergraduate students and their families about your society or sports team and positively promoting the University of Leicester.
Skills and experience
- Currently a committee member or active member of your student society or team
- A positive attitude towards the University of Leicester, our facilities and courses
- Friendly and approachable
- Ability to engage with young people
