Role
This role will involve supporting the smooth delivery of the Professional Mentoring Awards, assisting with event organisation, welcoming and supporting guests, managing registration, and helping to ensure a professional and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Duties and responsibilities
Event Organisation
- Assist with the delivery of events from initial setup through to completion.
- Support event logistics, including venue preparation, room layouts, and equipment setup.
- Monitor schedules to help ensure events run smoothly and address operational issues promptly.
- Work closely with event organisers to maintain high standards of service and attendee experience.
Meet & Greet
- Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide information about the event agenda, venue facilities, and programme activities.
- Direct attendees to appropriate locations.
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries and resolve attendee concerns efficiently.
Registration Desk
- Manage attendee check-in and registration processes.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and handle last-minute registrations or amendments.
- Respond to registration queries and ensure a smooth and efficient arrival experience for all participants.
Skills and experience
- Event organisation and general event support
