Description
Role
The post holder will be specifically responsible for supporting Course Officers across Schools with increased number of enquiries during the launch of the new Doctoral College system. They will need to be a highly organised and motivated individual who is able to work autonomously, and being comfortable liaising with students, staff on key policies and processes.
Duties and responsibilities
- High level of prioritisation and organisation to manage a high volume of work and priorities effectively.
- Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a diverse audience.
- Ability to support colleagues with troubleshooting the new system and gather user feedback to ensure a smooth transition.
Skills and experience
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Canvas, with experience using databases and a willingness to learn new software.
- Familiarity with student records systems, such as SITS.
- Highly motivated and flexible.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
