Description

Role
The school of MACS and the Campbell Maths Gym are hosting a large conference on the 3rd and 4th of September and require some friendly student ambassadors to help with logistics throughout the two days of the conference.

Duties and responsibilities
The ambassadors will be required to help with registration of delegates, showing delegates around the Edinburgh campus. The conference will have multiple sessions running in parallel in different spaces between the Postgraduate Centre and the Earl Mountbatten Building. Successful candidates will be required to help delegates navigate between the rooms and signpost around the campus.

 
You must be available to work from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on both days of the conference. A Heriot-Watt University t-shirt will be provided as a uniform. 

Skills and experience
You must be enthusiastic, approachable and keen to talk to people. You will be the face of Heriot-Watt for our delegates who are attending from all over the world. A good knowledge of the campus will be very helpful.
