Description
Role
This role entails welcoming and registering visitors to the National Robotarium during the Doors Open Day event on September the 26th. The successful applicants will also assist in helping at activity zones throughout the day, as well as aiding visitors to find there way around the National Robotarium and signposting as needed.
Duties and responsibilities
- Registration of visitors and providing them with a wristband for the event.
- Helping control the flow of guests arriving at and leaving the National Robtarium.
- Assisting at activity zones and tours including signposting for visitors.
A full briefing will be provided before the event begins.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Proven interpersonal skills
- Clear communicator including proactive interactions with visitors
- A strong knowledge of the Edinburgh campus
Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar ambassador or registration role
- Previous experience working in the National Robotarium
Please note this position is not appropriate for an incoming student.
