Description

Role
Assisting the Educational Technologists withing the LEaD department to create manually all of the modules on the Canvas VLE following the cyber incident at Tooting which has removed the automations and integrations with the student record system SITS which would usually do this automatically.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Working with MS Excel to receive, consolidate and format information received from course teams to identify modules required and student enrolments
  • To upload CSV files to the Canvas VLE to create modules, roll over content from previous modules and add students to modules.
  • To review and update FAQs and quick start guides ahead of the 26/27 academic year

Skills and experience

  • Some administrative experience of a Virtual Learning Environment such as Canvas or Moodle would be preferential
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience of working with a team to achieve projects to tight deadlines
  • Experience of reviewing FAQs and / or guides for systems users
