Role
The Digital Marketing Intern will support Holmes Limited in developing and enhancing its digital marketing strategy to increase brand visibility, customer engagement and lead generation within the manufacturing sector. Working closely with Management, the intern will help identify digital opportunities and provide actionable insights to support brand growth in targeted markets.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of the company’s digital marketing strategy.
  • Review and analyse current digital channels, including website, social media and email activity.
  • Evaluate website performance and SEO effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity and digital marketing best practice within the manufacturing sector.
  • Contribute to the creation of content for social media, email campaigns and the company website.
  • Assist with the implementation or improvement of marketing automation tools and CRM processes where required.
  • Work with management to identify digital opportunities that support lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support brand growth in targeted markets.

Skills and experience
Essential:

  • Interest in digital marketing, content creation and customer engagement.
  • Good written communication skills with the ability to create clear, engaging content.
  • Confident using digital platforms such as websites, social media and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to research, analyse information and present practical recommendations.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams.
Desirable:
  • Awareness of SEO, website analytics or digital marketing performance measures.
  • Experience using CRM systems, marketing automation tools or email campaign platforms.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, engineering or B2B markets.
  • Experience creating content for social media, websites or email campaigns.
  • Use of AI to assist in research and execution of marketing strategies.
