Description
Role
Demonstrators will undertake teaching support and administrative duties in relation to identified areas of Geography teaching delivery to support the highest quality service to students.

Skills and experience
Applicants should have successfully completed at least the first year of the relevant degree programme (or equivalent) and have practical experience applying the skills and techniques associated with the subject area. You will be an effective communicator with strong analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team. A good standard of English is essential to support teaching and administrative activities, and to communicate effectively with staff and students.
The successful candidate will understand the importance of health and safety within laboratory or fieldwork environments where applicable and will demonstrate behaviours aligned with the University's values of being inclusive, inspiring and impactful.
Previous experience of demonstrating or teaching undergraduate students would be advantageous, as would a relevant First Aid qualification. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their teaching experience while supporting students in a positive and engaging learning environment.
