Role
The Student Experience team are looking for a Student Communities officer to support with Welcome and Community planning, logistics and delivery.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage Student Ambassador recruitment for Welcome, this includes recruiting, training and timesheets.
- Manage relevant Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites for Welcome and Community
- Draft minutes for Welcome Committee to support the sub-group leads, organise the SharePoint/ Teams site ensuring folders are up to date with meeting notes.
- Support with planning and organising logistics of events.
- Organise event resources and materials.
- Order merchandise and Welcome specific resources.
- Provide on the day support with running events.
- Support with student feedback/survey analysis
Skills and experience
• Experience of providing administrative support for projects.
• Experience in leading a group of ambassadors
• Experience of organising and running engaging events
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Confident to work with a range of people at different levels
• Self-motivated, able to exercise initiative and prioritise workload independently while working as part of a team.
• Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to think creatively and generate new ideas.
• Good research and analysis skills
