Location: Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Yorkshire & surrounding areas (Home and Field Based)
Reporting to: Assistant Operations Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic Agricultural Technology Advisor to join our close-knit team and support growers across the Eastern region.

About the Role
This is a varied role that changes throughout the seasons.
During the growing season, you will work closely with growers, helping them understand and utilise irrigation and monitoring data to make informed crop management decisions. You will regularly visit farms, carry out crop observations and act as a trusted point of contact for your customers.
During the winter months, you will be involved in GPS-guided precision soil sampling programmes, operating specialist equipment, collecting accurate field data and supporting the production of precision farming reports and mapping outputs.

No two days are the same.
Duties and responsibilities
- Install and commission irrigation and environmental monitoring systems.
- Support growers in using Agri-tech monitoring platforms and technologies.
- Review monitoring data and discuss recommendations with customers.
- Conduct regular farm visits and crop observations.
- Build trusted relationships with growers across your region.
- Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting.
- Operate specialist GPS-guided precision soil sampling equipment.
- Plan and undertake soil sampling programmes.
- Collect and manage field data accurately.
- Support the production of precision farming reports and mapping outputs.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Requirements
- Agricultural qualification or relevant agricultural industry experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good IT skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the region.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload and priorities.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable Experience
- Irrigation systems or water management.
- Farming, horticulture or crop production.
- Precision farming technologies.
- GPS guidance systems.
- Soil science.
- Agricultural machinery operation.
- GIS or mapping software.
- Customer-facing agricultural roles.
Previous experience in these areas is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
