Role

This is an important, term-time only role within Warwick Business School, which is required in order to help us to facilitate the delivery of live lectures in real time via Kaltura, our online webinar tool.

The role will require the candidate to work from home to support the delivery of a set number of lectures per week

Full training will be provided, and you will be supported by experts who can provide resolution to more complex technical problems.

NB: Successful applicants must have a good home internet connection, PC or laptop, headset and webcam

Duties and responsibilities

  • Log in to the virtual classroom
  • Upload slides for session if required to do so
  • Run audio checks with all presenters/guest
  • Ensure that, where relevant, the session is being recorded (including starting and stopping the recording at the appropriate times). 
  • Monitor the chat box for technical queries from students and respond appropriately
  • Create polls and breakout rooms for presenters when required to do so
  • Provide information to participants to keep them updated in the event that the presenter experiences ongoing/sever tech issues (ie. loss of internet connection).
  • Consult with the experts in the event of technical issues that are not immediately resolvable

  • Confident technology user
  • Problem-solver
  • Previous experience of attending or running online webinars and meetings
  • Ability to use own initiative to solve problems and to work independently
  • Good people skills
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal office hours

Home-based (All work must be completed in the UK)

  • Predicted interview date - Estimated 21 August 26
  • Start and end date: 2 hours of paid training - 14 Sep and 29 September 2026 . Duration of main contract: 6 Oct 2026 – 12 December 2026 in the first instance.
