Role
Student Engagement Assistants will work closely with our team of Student Engagement Officers that are allocated within each of the courses above.
Duties and responsibilities
The working hours of the role will be anytime between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, with the occasional evening/weekend shift for student events. The successful candidates will be required to work an average of 3 hours per week comprising of the following tasks:
- On campus advice mentoring drop-in pop-up stand
- Supporting the Student Engagement Team’s duties (workshops, events, inductions etc.)
- Group Workshop Sessions - with the potential to provide more in-depth skills development to students
Skills and experience
The purpose of the role will be to draw from your own experience as a student to devise initiatives with the Student Engagement team to support the student experience – with a particular focus on equality, diversity and inclusion.
