Role
We are seeking to appoint Bank Residential Support Workers to join our motivated teams at our homes in Gloucestershire, delivering high and consistent standards of care and support to our children with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD).  As a Bank Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of a dedicated team to provide support, understanding, nurturing, and positive role modeling for the children and young people in our care. You will help create a safe, stable, and caring environment that promotes positive outcomes and enables each child to achieve their full potential.  This is a flexible, casual role with no guaranteed hours. Shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis to cover staffing requirements, annual leave, training, sickness absence, and other operational needs. Opportunities may include day shifts, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-in shifts, depending on the needs of the service.  Bank staff play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care and maintaining high standards of support for the children and young people living within the home.

Duties and responsibilities
Your duties & responsibilities will include recording, attending meetings and adhering to the policies and procedures within the Home. You will need to engage with children offering guidance, support and structure to their everyday lives and above all inspire them to reach their full potential. 

Skills and experience
Essential requirements: Enhanced DBS check (with children's barred list check), we will obtain this prior to commencing employment.Right to work in the UK.Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts where required.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Experience, qualifications and training: No previous experience is required.No specific qualifications are required by law for this role.Full induction, mandatory training and ongoing support will be provided.Applicants should be willing to undertake training relevant to the role and the needs of the children and young people supported by the service
