This role is a full-time role. Normal working hours are likely to be 9am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am until 4pm Friday with half an hour lunch. Hours may be altered depending on demand through this period and staff need to be flexible.

Role
The Immigration and Compliance Team in Student Experience require a team of staff to assist with the enrolment process undertaken by new international students due to join the University of Warwick for the new academic year. This will involve undertaking in-person checks of a student’s visa and passport to verify that they hold immigration permission which allows them to study at the University and to ensure that the University stores accurate information and evidence of this.
This will require working at in-person events on campus.
Duties and responsibilities
- To undertake pre-processing checks, following a set of operational guidance, of visa and passport images uploaded to the student record system (Evision), which students upload as part of the online course registration process.
- This involves using the student record system (Evision) and working accurately and effectively through high volumes of data.
- To check immigration documents and complete enrolment checks with students at a series of in-person Right to Study events
- To assist with other enrolment-related compliance activities as required.
Skills and experience
It is essential that staff are able to work accurately and independently, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, with due regard to the handling of confidential personal data and data protection requirements. They must also be polite and have a pleasant manner. It is essential to remain calm under pressure.
Candidates need to be comfortable working with IT and email. Some experience of using the University’s student records system (Evision) would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.

Location
University of Warwick main campus . The work will be in person, both office based, and student facing events. • Remote working is not available for this role, hybrid working is not available for this role.
Additional information
Start date – 1 September 2026. Full training will be provided upon starting. To continue until 06 October 2026, depending on workload.
In addition to this, staff must be available to work on Saturday 26 September 2026 and Sunday 27 September 2026.
