Unitemps are recruiting for a Administration and Data Entry Assistant (UCL Students and Graduates). This role is for UCL Students and Graduates.This role has a start date of July 27th (or asap after) and a projected end date of September 11th 2026. This is a full-time role at 36.5 hours per week (projected). Payment is set at £15.45 per hour + £2.89 holiday pay. This role is UCL hybrid working; 2 days from the office and the other days from home.

UCL is a world-leading institution supporting a vibrant academic community. Behind this world-class education is UCL Estates, which manages and maintains one of the largest and most complex property portfolios in the higher education sector—spanning over 200 diverse academic buildings. Within this directorate, the Area Facilities Management (AFM) team is vital to daily campus operations. Divided across key geographic zones, the AFM team works closely with staff and students to ensure our buildings run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. To enhance how we share information across this massive estate, we are launching a new SharePoint hub, and we need an organized administrative professional to help make it a success.

Duties and responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative and Data Entry Assistant to support our Facilities Management department. 
 
The core focus of this role is to help launch and maintain a new departmental SharePoint site, which will serve as an information hub for staff and students regarding our 200-building academic portfolio. 
 
Working closely with Facilities Managers and Estates colleagues, you will coordinate, edit, and input relevant data into building-specific pages, ensuring the site remains accurate and up-to-date throughout your appointment.

Skills and experience

  • The ideal candidate will bring a background in administration and online data entry. 
  • While prior experience with SharePoint is highly desirable, training can be provided. 
  • The role holder should be highly organized, punctual, and possess sharp attention to detail. 
  • This role requires an effective communicator who can work independently and proactively ask for clarification when needed, while also collaborating seamlessly within a diverse team. 
  • In alignment with UCL’s culture, the successful candidate will actively support our institutional commitments to inclusion and wellbeing.

Location
UCL; hybrid working with 2 days per week from the office
