Role
We are looking for a Website Content Coordinator to join our clients team based at the University of Warwick.This is a 9 month fixed term position and the salary is £16,988 to £18,911.

We are looking for part time and 20 hours per week. This would have the ability to be a Hybrid role.

Duties and responsibilities
As Website Content Coordinator, you'll play a central role in the redevelopment of the website by leading the review, development and creation of high-quality digital content. You'll work collaboratively with departments across the organisation to ensure the website is user-centred, accessible and aligned with the companies brand, while supporting a seamless transition to a new digital platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the audit, review and redevelopment of website content, ensuring content is relevant, engaging and meets user needs.
  • Write, edit and proofread high-quality website copy that reflects tone of voice, brand values and accessibility standards.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather information, understand services and translate complex information into clear, student friendly content.
  • Apply user research, content strategy and digital best practice to improve website usability, navigation and overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with the website project team to ensure content aligns with the new website structure, design and project milestones.
  • Support content migration, quality assurance and population of the new website using the content management system.
  • Contribute to the development of content governance processes, editorial standards and sustainable workflows that support long-term website maintenance.
  • Build positive relationships across departments, embedding collaborative approaches that ensure website content remains accurate, relevant and up to date.

Skills and experience
You will be able to demonstrable

  • Experience writing, editing and proofreading content for websites or other digital channels.
  • Experience managing complex content projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience gathering information from subject matter experts and translating it into engaging content for target audiences.
  • Experience reviewing and improving content for usability, readability and accessibility.

You will also have

  • Exceptional written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across an organisation.
  • Understanding of digital content best practice, including accessibility and user-centred content design.
  • Ability to adapt writing style and tone for different audiences and purposes.
